Project Details
Project Description: The rapid growth of digital information and the increasing complexity of library collections have certainly required the library to improve its operational efficiency, especially on the methods of borrowing books. With this increasing complexity, a traditional method of manually managing the borrowing of books or other library’s collection is becoming more time-consuming. For some of these reasons, we adopted and developed an AI to automate those processes in the library, especially in AL Falah Darussalam Library. We create ALISE stands for Automatic Library Integrated System, in ALISE have four menus:
1. ABSENT. In this menu students have to confirm whether have registered as member or not. If you are not a member, then you must register to become a member first and then they have to scan their face to continue the process.
2. FIND BOOK. In this menu students can find the location of the book they want on the bookshelves in the library. Student just type the category, author, theme, title they want, then ASE will show the bookshelves code.
3. BOOK SUMMARY. In this menu students can find out the book summary by scanning the book cover. If the student wants to continue to borrow the book the student can directly click the borrow book button
4. BORROW BOOK. In this menu the students can directly borrow book themselves by click the Borrow Book button then ALISE will scan the book that they want to borrow and then scan the student face then borrowing process is done.
5. RETURN BOOK. In this menu student can return their book by scanning the QR code that is given/printed when the book borrowing process.
